USAGI Game Jam 2026 Terms of submission

tl;dr: Don't pull a Collective Unconscious on us or we will repair and redistribute your game. When we do so, we have to disclose changes and provide proper attribution.

LEGALLY BINDING TEXT
0. By 'You' we refer to the submitter, the entire team that produced the game, anybody with a valid copyright on the original content provided within a submission. "Submission" refers to a digital game offered by "You" to the USAGI Game Jam, it might consist of software, audiovisual assets, server infrastructure, or any other work.
1. By submitting a digital game to the USAGI Jam 2026, You agree that You can and do grant Sushigirl.cafe administrators and its owners an irrevocable perpetual non-exclusive license to distribute Your complete game to anybody visiting free of charge only with proper attribution, clear indication of changes to the Submission, their extent, and only for the purposes of allowing the public to play the game on their devices, repair and preservation of your Submission in the state it was presented.
2. Section 1 additionally applies to any networked or other services that are a mandatory part of the digital game, such as services required to start, complete, or participate in the game.
2.1 In no way shall Sushigirl.us administrators, or owners represent, assert, or imply that the Submission, or any portion thereof, is their creation, property, or the result of the their authorship.
3. SUBMISSIONS AND THEIR REPUBLICATIONS ARE PROVIDED “AS IS”, WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NONINFRINGEMENT. IN NO EVENT SHALL THE AUTHORS OR COPYRIGHT HOLDERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIM, DAMAGES OR OTHER LIABILITY, WHETHER IN AN ACTION OF CONTRACT, TORT OR OTHERWISE, ARISING FROM, OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE SOFTWARE OR THE USE OR OTHER DEALINGS IN THE SOFTWARE.
