I’ve heard of Deltarune but never played it! Why do you think the game is awesome, sushi?

well to start of with it's basically just a yume nikki themed earthbound fangame with a really cool story and cute furries. the gameplay is like a mix between warioware/mario and luigi and touhou 6, and it makes use of the medium in really clever ways (kind of like hotline miami) without being all "ooh look at me im hecking self aware and special!!!". also there's lots of secrets and obscure tidbits but in a cool way that doesn't impact the main story.

it also doesn't try too hard, unlike many new "quirky" earthbound-inspired rpgs *coughs in omori*. the humor is kind of timeless and well placed, there are no marvel one liners, and it has a really great midi soundtrack too.

i think you kind of need to play undertale first which sucks but the first two chapters of deltarune are free and save data can be carried over into the main game if you think it's good enough to buy.

but yeah really awesome game you should go check it out it's really cool and awesome i think

people say that the boss monsters and ralsei are goats, but I always thought they were like fluffy sort of dragons, like falchor from the neverending story. because of the fire magic and stuff

also goats are creepy and weird and ralsei and asriel are nice

At first I really didn't like deltarune cause back when chapter 2 released I was in my "hurr durr i hate woke indie games" phase, however after actually playing all the chapters I realized it was actually peam.

i played a bit when it first came out, wasn't really hooked. then years later, my friend started playing it and i decided to give another shot and i really liked it. so yes, i think it's cool and awesome too

I once read a fanfiction in which Dess was a crystal cafe user (read: femcel terf shutin) who mutilated and raped trans Noelle and cut Kris's nuts off. It kind of makes it hard for me to enjoy her character.

But yeah, the designs are cool. I don't really like the generic traits everyone seems to give her.

I think if we do meet her, she'll be fairly different from Susie, whose personality everyone seems to project onto Dess. I think maybe she'll be kind of like Ness; very plucky and outgoing but not overly "edgy" if that makes sense. I guess the lyrics to Raise Up Your Bat give that impression, but it's still a little much for me.
