>>23782While I'm not Christian or religious in any sense other than a belief in god and that god is different from how he is portrayed through mainstream religions/more benevolent than judgemental/punitive (I could expand if requested but thats a bit derailing, I'm also lgbt so I'm not entirely welcomed in a lot of religious spaces), I do agree with you on the general premise that stuffing the site's catalog and recent threads with porn isn't really a good or welcoming vibe to an imageboard intended to be comfy and discussion oriented.
People will lynch me for saying that for coming across as "prude" but I honestly think some things are best behind closed doors rather than out in the open. Especially because what may entice some could be a source of great stress and pain for others. I also think imageboards in generally have evolved past a need for porn to survive. There's multiple outlets that fill that niche and are better suited for it.
That's not to say I will crack down on occasional sexual talk or heavily enforce a puritanical hand, but rather I think that this site's focus should be on the discussions of topics outside this realm and should be conducive to a general, respectful and mature site culture. I think ultimately, the site should allow the occasional spoilered ecchi just to not piss others off but I also just feel very uncomfortable around porn and not in a religious sense or sanctimonious sense.
Not trying to judge or insult you however with that statement because I feel people shit on religion enough as is to a very disrespectful degree that hones in at the worst of religious followers of the most stereotypical variety and assumes the whole foundation is that (commonly seen in discussions around any sort of religious belief and aims to dehumanize others and legitimize murder, which we are seeing play out in the middle east in real time unforunately).
