Can I get a recommendation for an anime or manga that includes plenty of lolis, shotas too if possible, is absolutely overflowing with fanservice, is unimaginably fucked up, trauma, gore, etc, and ideally has vibrant and complex world-building.

I've already seen made in abyss, elfen lied, and a certain series.

the loli fanservice part is nonnegotiable I want absolutely gratuitous fanservice.

I can't believe no one has suggested Moetan yet… for me it's THE loli fanservice anime.

Rizelmine also has a loli with plenty of fanservice. If you like great music and comfier lolis I would also suggest Saint October. Oh and watch Dance in the Vampire Bund.

I wouldn't really consider narutaru to be lolicon or fanservice, but it does have a lot of trauma and violence.

Narutaru has some fucked up stuff in the story. The show isn't great, but the manga is and it takes the story to a whole other level towards the end, which is not included in the anime.

Vampires loli, AND an interesting politcal plot? Geez sushi, we haven't even met each other yet and here you're spoiling me with good stuff. Thank you sooooo much!

I believe we are on the brink of facing off against a massive purge of the unofficial Touhou OST uploads.

I have been seeing more and more copyright claims these days.

This Moriya thread: https://moriyashrine.org/threads/touhou-20-osts-possibly-being-removed-from-youtube.2505/

The TOUHOUMUSIC subreddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/TOUHOUMUSIC/

And this site: https://nautilus.nekoweb.org/en/writing/touhou-death/touhou-death

Are so far the best sources of information of what is getting taken down.
I think we can confirm that something very strange is happening with the news that PC98 songs are getting wiped off SoundCloud.
See: https://www.reddit.com/r/TOUHOUMUSIC/comments/1kp6efv/even_pc98_got_copyright_struck_come_on/

All I can say, WTF is happening. I hope the more historic uploads of the OST don't get wiped…

I see no benefit to this beyond maybe trying to stir up some controversy and get in the news cycle.

Money? Sadism? Probably sadism. I think I’m done with Touhou. I haven’t being paying attention to new releases for years. You just realize the fans have become shills for this drunken man child. The fan made content is better than the official releases anyway.

I watched .hack//SIGN on Toonami in the afternoon and Midnight Run on Cartoon Network in the early 2000s. It was a lot of dialogue for what what usually an action and comedy anime program block, so I imagine it didn't do well in "ratings" however the hell that information was gathered then(no one ever asked me for my opinions).

I loved .hack//SIGN though. The soundtrack, mood, animation style, and characters are unforgettable. If the character design ever looks familiar, that's probably because it was done by Yoshiyuki Sadamoto. He designed characters for Gainax including Royal Space Force, Nadia, Neon Genesis Evangelion, FLCL, and Diebuster. He was also an artist on the Daicon IV opening animation.

Talk about anything that ABe has had a hand in. Anime, manga, doujinshi, art, etc!

I finished Texhnolyze on stream not too long ago and loved it, even if it was a bit of a tough watch at times. Certain parts of that anime absolutely blew me away (namely the scenes on the surface) and more than made up for its shortcomings.

yeah, and what other groups of people are like this?

Rituals are an important part of life for young children and differently abled people. They are far more prone to becoming upset when things get out of the normal scheduled order.

All of those things are probably true but as an experiment I want to try the Haibane lifestyle. I can't find a way around money. Thrift clothes and abandoned places are easy to come by. I recycle a lot of junk already. I guess I could volunteer at a charity or a soup kitchen as a way to work for free?
Rituals aren't just silly arcane rules. They are a way to create an atmosphere and shape your mind and body so its interesting to see how these rules would effect a person. Its a dumb exercise but its not like I have anything else to do.

Talk about what manga you've been reading!

I've been reading an older manga called Yume Tsukai by Ueshiba Riichi. It's about magical shrine maidens with weird powers solving paranormal mysteries and stuff. Fairly standard concept but what makes it good in my opinion is just how crazy and bizarre the stories get, as well as some really fantastic art and a nostalgic sort of comedy. It's sometimes goofy, sometimes quite emotional, and other times borders on Junji Ito-esque horror scenarios. I really like the creepy body horror stuff, and the comedy between the weirdo cast is fun. I especially like the over the top lolicon character.

Almost finished with Kakushigotou - it got really tiring and repetitive by the end. Some of those later parts were still funny, but it started to rely way too much on the misunderstandings between characters.
