Seems like this anime has gotten a lot of seasons for something that no one ever talks about. But I don't want to watch 80 episodes of catchup if it sucks.

It's a decently popular shounen. In typical shounen fashion there's not a ton to talk about past the first season because a lot of the themes and story beats are very similar, but it's fun enough to watch.

It's a show that's very frontloaded imo. The first season/arc is very good and while it maintains a high standard the quality of the story does trend slightly downwards as it goes on.

I was gonna' say MAO looks like they wanted to do an Inuyasha reboot with new characters, but it turns out it's actually a spinoff by the same author.
