This board was made to handle some of the discussion topics that were common on Samachan but not so common on Sushichan. Japanese and Otaku culture as well as Anime-related discussions can go in this board, whether you were originally from Samachan or not. In addition, if you are from Samachan and you're not sure if your topic would fit in one of our other boards, you can post it here. If the moderators think it would be a better fit for another part of the site, it might get moved.

Ok so I noticed there's a stream-goer who's been getting harassed by people telling they/them that they/them are exactly like a character in this anime. I just watched eps 17-20 to catch up and this is getting into the realm of slander if it keeps up.

Just finished the show at around 3am and damn it hit hard. I dont watch much anime nor am i used to this type of but i loved it from start to finish. It resonated a lot more since i've been feeling very lonely lately, but i guess life is worth it even without the pain.

Also i somehow forgot there was an anime board and posted this topic earlier today in /lounge/, sorry.

It's nice that you like it, and its even nicer that it resonated with you, but still, I hope that someone here shares the feeling I do in regards to the anime

I think it goes into various different side stories quite often, that usually just feel forced, boring and stupid from start to end

The one that struck me as the most insufferable has to be the pyramid scheme arc. HOLY MOLY SEWAGIBIPOLAR GUAMACOLE, was the pyramid scheme arc awful

The island was OK, and so was the little obsession satou had with the mmorpg arc thingy, but asides from that, the show was just weak after the 6th or 7th episode

It just comes down to personal opinion of course. I would have loved it if satou's growth was shown in a different manner, instead of using stupid fokin arcs

I read the manga a long time ago. Only thing I remember is thinking that the characters acted more unhinged and unnatural compared to the anime.

Kuuchuu Buranko is one of the coolest anime no one ever talks about. Not something I expected from a studio known for super long running shounen and shoujo stuff.
